Q & A

Most sections are gentle coastal or island roads, with a few moderate climbs along the Shimanami Kaido. E-bikes make the route accessible for riders of all levels, and a support vehicle accompanies the tour for added safety.
Moderate climbs appear mainly on the approaches to the island bridges and around viewpoint areas such as Kirosan. These slopes are manageable with e-bike assistance and frequent rest stops.
If cycling becomes difficult, alternative plans—such as cultural experiences, scenic drives, or expanded sightseeing—will be arranged to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable day.
We recommend comfortable activewear, a light jacket, and sunglasses. Helmets and basic cycling gear are provided. If needed, we can also prepare suitable cycling clothing for you and bring it on the day of the tour.
All transportation—including Shinkansen tickets and private transfers—is arranged by Seibu Travel Co., Ltd. for a seamless and stress-free experience.
